le fromage

This weekend instead of drinking Bloody's outside all day, I opted for a tour into the cheese caves of the infamous Murray's Cheese Shop. It's called becoming cultured.

The class was $15 and totally worth it. First, I was greeted with a glass of proseco and 6 'spensive cheeses to eat. Money back.

Then, I traveled underneath the shop to the aging caves to observe where the cheeses moldy exterior or wash rinds finished processing.

My favorite was the wash-rind cheese cave. The cheeses give off a very distinct ammonia smell. It stank as if MK had given me dutch oven of his feet after running a half-marathon.

If you live in the area, I highly, highly recommend signing up and checking it out for yo' self!

comes with one side. you want greenbeans or slaw?

Sometimes I feel bad for commuters who bury themselves in a Kindle or, even worse, Angry Birds. Not because I care that they're further disassociating themselves from members of society, but because they're missing out on all the babes. NY is notoriously packed with major babes of both sexes.

I like to use my commute time wisely; to stare at good looking people.

That's why I did not hate it when I read HotGuysOnTheTrain, a blog dedicated to babespotting on the NY mass transit system.

Hello! Bonjour! Guttentag! Do you know that you're not ugly?

btdubs, all the single ladies, get yourself a pillow and camp out on the M train!

I didn't even know we had an M train, but all the male models do.

NY, NY

I hope everyone is ok! My thoughts go out to those along the East Coast affected by Hurricane Irene.

One thing I was reminded of this weekend, I love this city.
