I have had an absolute OB.SESS.ION with beach wavy hair for years now. This wasn't always the case and for a long time I was convinced that my sassy-self required short, sassy hair. My first beach-wave product was John Frieda Beach Blonde Ocean Waves Spray and it was only about $4.99 at the drugstore. Unfortunately, the unthinkable happened and it was discontinued about 6 years ago. Still a legend.
Since then, I have scoured for an adequate replacement, even resulting to mixing my own (half salt water, half leave-in conditioner. disastrous).
yikes. when you put all of the products together that i've tried over the years, things get real.
This summer, I have finally found a close competitor! Garnier Fructis's Style Surf Hair Paste. Don't let the word "paste" turn you off. Just a dime size, made my hair look like I had been swimming in the ocean all day, without it feeling crunchy or greasy.
